Zazzle Designer Earnings Analytics Danielle Fernandez

I have used my background in finance to create a Microsoft Excel based tool that takes all of the work out of analyzing Zazzle royalties, referrals, and earnings. It is a strategic companion tool to Elke's Courses. Today, I'm going to show you week by week, module by module of Elke's course, how you can use the Zazzle Designer Earnings Analytics Tool to fly through the analysis parts of the course. You can even try the tool for FREE for one week to see if you like it!

Simply follow the instructions in the tool and then begin your analysis below for the course.

Module 1, Lesson 3 : Set Up The Tracking Tools for Your Goal Using Your Previous Zazzle Results

Goals & Monthly Assessment

In the "Input Your Forecast Here" tab in the tool, you are instructed to enter your forecasted Referrals as % of Earnings in the corresponding column.

Enter your Total Earnings Forecast in the corresponding column.

The tool then calculates exactly how much in Royalties and Referrals you need to make for the year and how you're actually doing against that goal!

In this example, the Zazzle Affiliate or Designer has set a goal of earning $2,000 in which 10% of it will come from Referrals for 2018. They have actual Royalties of $612 and $334 of Referrals for a total of $946 in 2018.

Use this for the My Goals in Numbers Worksheet in Module 1 Lesson 3

The tool takes your yearly goal, and breaks it down further into monthly achievable goals. You can easily see if you are meeting your monthly royalty and referral goals and review the results in chart format.

In this example, the Zazzle Affiliate or Designer has earned $31 in Referrals in April 2018, their goal was $16.67 in the Referral Forecast column so they have exceeded their goal by $14.33 in the Referral Variance column. Since they have not earned any Royalties in April 2018, the Royalty variance shows -$150 as they have not met their Royalty forecast of $150 for the month.

Use this for the My Goals in Numbers & the Daily Earnings Tracker & Monthly Assessment Worksheets in Module 1 Lesson 3

Module 1, Lesson 2 : Determine Your Achievable Zazzle Goal For the Next Year

I know that these are out of order - but you must complete the prior step in order for this chart to work!

Past and Future Yearly Income

Enter your forecast (previous step) and instantly track if you are meeting your goals by viewing the Forecast Dashboard tab of the tool. It includes your cleared total lifetime earnings, Pro Designer Level, and Earnings needed to level up. The graph displays your actual earnings vs the forecasted goals you enter in the tool. This chart motivates me to meet my goals and set realistic future goals!

Use the Total Earnings by Month & Year Chart for your Past & Future Yearly Income Graph in Module 1 Lesson 2.

Module 1, Lesson 4: Use the Visualization Tools to Help Motivate you to Achieve your Zazzle Goal

In this example, the Zazzle designer has earned $946 in 2018 and is currently in the month of April, meaning they are almost half way to their goal but aren't half way through the year - which means they are on the right track!

Module 2, Lesson 3: Assess Your Top Sellers By Product Type

Module 2, Lesson 4: Assess Your Seasonal vs Evergreen Income

Module 4, Lesson 1: Use Tools Provided to Analyze Your Sales from Previous Month

These tables are located in the Top 10 Royalty Dashboard tab of the tool to help you immediately identify your top ten products for All Time, the Last 12 Months, Last 3 Months, and Last Month so you know what to make more of! If you are seeing the same products across all the columns, it may represent an "evergreen". If you are only seeing it in the last three months, it may mean the product is a seasonal best seller.

Use the slicers at the top of the page to find your best sellers by store for each of the time periods. These charts make it easy to analyze your sales from the previous month.

Module 2, Lesson 3: Determine Your Profit Per Transaction

This chart can be found in both the Monthly and Yearly tabs of the tool and displays the Average $ per transaction by month or year. The tool also features slicers to the right that allow you to single out or combine your stores, view data in USD or International, by Year. Each chart also has helpful hints and tips to the right so you know exactly how to analyze your results.

Module 3, Lesson 1: Determine Your Avatar's Social Media Habits

Module 3, Lesson 1: Analyze Your Current Promotion Strategy & Branding

Module 4, Lesson 2: Use Tools Provided to Analyze Your Promotion Results from Previous Month

The Customer Behavior Dashboard tab of the tool tells you exactly who your avatar is. It answers when they like to shop on Zazzle, where the biggest spenders live, and when and where they are clicking on your referral links.

Review your avatar's social media habits and analyze your current promotion strategy by using the Total Referral by Day, Hour, and Source chart in the Customer Behavior Dashboard. In this example, the Zazzle Affiliate has customers clicking through their website at 12PM on Wednesdays most frequently. They also have success with their tracking codes on Pinterest around 1PM on Wednesdays.

Instantly determine what sites are driving your referrals by using the Total Referral by Tracking Code Source chart in the Customer Behavior Dashboard.

Learn where your avatar resides and design products accordingly by using the Total Royalty by Country and State chart.

The Top 10 Royalty Dashboard allows you to view products that have received the most referral income by all time, last 12 months, last 3 months, and last month. Pin and share more of these products with your associate ID to increase your referral income!
